Just thought I would add my tuppence worth to all this. Just been listening to In The Rain on cd; fantastic stuff and like another reviewer has said bands like Sol, DIJ, C93 etc. haven’t influenced me politically. Revolt Against The Modern World by Julius Evola, now there’s an fascinating character!
Right. It is indeed a fascinating tale! Tony, togheter with Douglas P. formed one of the most vital English anti-fascist bands ever(crisis), then T.W joined the NF and later released an album under the name “Above The Ruins” which he is now very ashamed of (not the album, but his racial views at that time). As we all know Douglas P. is gay, but where he stands politically… I could not care less (watch “Behind the Mask” on youtube) as I will ALWAYS like both DIJ and Sol Invictus! PEACE
So, this is the West, a land we’re meant to defend
Of pleased slaves, who will babble to the end
Beneath the towers, where finaciers roost
But above them the sun
That sings out an ancient truth
Against, the modern world
On a hill that leads down to the sea
The last batallions of those who wait to see
The northern lights and the midnight sun
They await their sunrise
That they know will surely com
Against the modern world

Ancient London Weeps, saw you last year Tony in King’s Cross , Incredible stuff. I am listening to the album right now, how right… this blackened ancient city is crumbling away…and we just don’t care!
What does it matter what someone’s politics are? At any moment you can influence someone’s political leanings very easily.
I tend to somewhat agree with the right wing national anarchist views of people like Troy Southgate and such.
But who cares, b/c I (and many others) are not involved with political activities because the world is just going to go down a path that can’t be changed.
People with right leaning politics always have to clarify themselves, while Communists don’t.
Read “Ă„sthetische Mobilmachung” – a book with a deep analysis on Sol Invictus, DIJ, Forseti, Blutharsch. The book describes many of the right tendencies of all these groups and they are a lot – hidden and obvious one.
Mr. Invictus himself also has a track record of far left political involvement, and a track record of not commenting on political matters at all, so I reckon it’s a small unfair to pigeonhole him in a political category.
sorry to have misunderstood you! but, richard moult aka ‘christos beest’ is both a neonazi satanist and the illustrator of a sol invictus cover. mr invictus himself has a track record of far right poitical involvement. none of this makes this dirge more bearable though. my day’s nice now the rain has stopped. all the best
Yeah and that way it was more galvanizing, than in any tv…: –Movie Champs[.]com–
takes me back years…………
Why would I want to watch an hour of pointless ramblings? Sheesh.
And as I wrote: I could not care less (watch “Behind the Mask” on youtube). I will ALWAYS like both DIJ and Sol Invictus! PEACE
just cause he’s gay doesn’t mean he isn’t a fascist

Bollocks
Oh noes!
i’ve heard those arguments for about twenty years now – and i can only say that in the end, to me, it’s just brilliant music.
and, again to me, that’s all that matters.
i never got inspired by bands like dij, c93, fire and ice, 6comm or sol invictus to despise my foreign neighbour whatsoever!
whilst the gods play – we pass away!
just fantastic!
the world is full of gods and beasts! lex talionis!
Pure poetry.
in the ancient world he would’nt be so hideous and stout
