It is voluntary with the secular charities as well (which raise a lot more than the Christian charities) and its still YOUR money if you donate anyways.

When we say capitalism has made the modern standard of living, we are not just talking about a small tiny improvement, barely noticable, which is what you had with slavery. We are talking about revolutionary change. We are talking about massive amounts of technology, medicine, electronics, and all within a system where individuals have freedom. Only a Chomsky parrot fucktard would try to compare slavery to capitalism in such a manner.
Its 100% right because in America every individual has freedom of association. There have even been Nazi rallies in recent years.
The churches aren’t necessarily charitable. Keeping priests and pastors in business so you can continue to attend sunday service is not charity.

Aside from which, putting limits on corporate greed, coersion and destruction of individual lives is not oppsed to capitalism. It can be worked within capitalism.
They probably wanted people to have the intellectual capacity to make a choice one way or another. That’s the best a democratic society can hope for.
I very much doubt they instilled a conservative or a liberal ideaology into the constitution or any of their other founding documents.
